On May 6, 2012 the garden club will present a one-day

tour of water gardens located in Lafayette and

surrounding communities.The event will be promoted

through newspaper advertisments and television

presentations in an effort to inform the public of the

event and to educate on the club’s contributions

to the community. This tour serves as a ticketed

community wide event to foster awareness and

procedures, as drip irrigation, rain barrels etc. that

encourage individuals to protect our aquatic

ecosystem (new NGC Special Project).
